Kirsten L. Anderson, M.A.
Kirsten Anderson completed her M.A. in Evaluation Studies at the University of Minnesota in 2013. She has experience working as an evaluator, researcher, and within several other roles in the non-profit, health care, and educational sectors. Her specialties and interests include survey design and analysis, innovative data visualization, participatory evaluation, and Evaluation Capacity Building.
Kirsten has worked on evaluation projects involving social network analysis, statistical analysis, focus groups, Geographic Information Systems, data visualization, database design, interviewing, survey design and analysis, as well as more innovative data collection and reporting. Major clients she has worked for include Milwaukee Public Schools, The Institute for Mathematics and its Applications, Project for Pride in Living, the University of Minnesota's CFANS department, the Minnesota Humanities Center with Omaha Public Schools, Animal Humane Society, and CornerHouse.
Kirsten's passion for evaluation comes from a passion for honestly questioning and challenging systems of oppression. She works for the moments when she sees organizations and individuals listening to each other and empowered to confront issues that they want to see changed in their communities and the world.
